DeLand Fire Station #81 Wins Design Award

For nearly a decade, Firehouse Magazine has recognized outstanding architecture and interiors with their annual Station Design Awards program. Our design for DeLand Fire Station #81 was honored with the Career 1 Fire Station Bronze Award. Inspired by the landscape of downtown DeLand where the original station resided for over 50 years, the exterior reflects the design of a historic brigade station using a palette of Chicago brick and red arched doors. The architecture is complemented by a modern, industrial interior that responds to the safety and training needs of the Fire Department.
