The School District of Manatee County
North River High School is the first new high school in Manatee County in more than a decade. The 265,103 SF high school was designed to meet the needs of today’s 21st century student with state-of-the-art technology and specialized career & technical education (CTE) labs. The CTE labs include robotics, allied nursing, tv broadcasting, agriculture and engineering, as well as the District’s first automotive technology academy. The high school was designed to complement the neighborhood vernacular of Parrish, Florida and locates the core spaces, including the media center, cafeteria, gymnasium and auditorium at the front of campus to allow easy access for community use.
