St. Croix Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF) Station
Virgin Islands Port Authority
The new ARFF Station at the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport in St. Croix is a replacement facility that provides better functionality and increased visibility and access to the airfield. The design reflects the vernacular of the island and is designed to meet all standards for a hardened building against hurricanes and seismic activity. The 11,609 SF station houses 4 firefighting trucks, watch room offices for the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chiefs, a conference and training room, kitchen, day room, dormitory, physical fitness area and chemical and equipment storage rooms.
